Wei Asian Arts provides early Chinese, Southeast Asian and Himalayan antiques and objets d'art in various materials (bronze, wood, stone, terracotta, porcelain). We present high-quality Chinese ceramics from the Han to Tang Dynasties and a fine collection of high quality antique Chinese furniture.

A special focus is put on Buddhist sculptures and Chinese scholar objects, which were the basis of our personal collection.

Our gallery is located in a handsome XIX century Brussels ' townhouse in the Sablon area. Collectors, curators, scholars and dealers interested in the arts of Asia are welcomed to visit, consult our library, discuss and learn from each other.

We are both sinologist and we spent the last 17 years living, working and collecting fine Asian art in the Far East. Coming back to Belgium we decided to make an old dream come true and set up the gallery in 2001. This is the meaning of our logo, an old scholar chop engraved with the characters: this was the pursuit of my whole life.

We are members of Bruneaf (www.bruneaf.be), a well known Belgian association of art dealers focusing on non-European art. We take part in antiques fairs both in Belgium (Eurantica Brussels and Antica Namur) and abroad: the San Francisco Arts of Pacific Asia Show, the New York Arts of Pacific Asia Show and the Los Angeles Asian and Tribal Art Show organized in the USA by Caskey and Lees (http://www.caskeylees.com/asian/).

In 2005 we participated to the first edition of the Brussels Oriental Art Fair (www.boafair.be) , a major international exhibition of oriental art which is going to become one of the major events for oriental art worldwide. We look forward to participating to the second edition in June 2006.

We carefully vet and guarantee the authenticity of our objects. All items are sold with a detailed description, expertise and condition report. We utilize specialized laboratories for the scientific tests which help us to confirm the age of our pieces.
