The installation artist Spencer Tunick renowned internationally becomes on Sunday, which 06 August 2006 supports, by the museum art palace, with a not yet foreseeable number of naked humans in the state capital Duesseldorf a spacious three-dimensional body sculpture to create.

Spencer Tunick loads freiwillige participant in to take part in this project. Under www.spencertunickinduesseldorf.de participants can register themselves, in order to participate in the installation. Each participant receives a photo, which is produced in a limited edition from the art action. Closer information to time and place is sent away by email time near before the Event to the participants. The meeting takes place at all weather.

With its installation Tunick refers to the Duesseldorfer Quadriennale06 - the first art year, which proclaimed the city and now every four years is delivered - and the topic "body", also in the work of the baroque artist Caravaggio, which is presented at the same time in the museum art palace with 30 hochkaraetigen loans - an important role plays.

Since 1992 the US-American artist naked one in the public area photographs.
