Bells and cymbals - a unique metallophone This unique and beautiful sounding instrument consists of 37 bells and 12 heavy Balinese cymbals mounted in a rack on rollers and 9 different mallets and beaters. Bells and cymbals are colour-coded according pitch. The rack is bolted together and can be taken apart easily. This instrument has been assembled by me in the late 80s and I used to play concerts on it. This lovely sounding instrument would be ideal for a school, musical education or could be used in therapy as well. The measurements are: rack height 208 cm (incl.rollers), rack width 131 cm, rack depth 105 widest bell diameter 19 cm, widest cymbal diameter 23 cm. The individual horizontal bars with bells or cymbals hanging from them can be also mounted on a wall with iron bolts or rods, leaving a 15cm distance between the horizontal bar and the wall.
