News from the 2012 season

End of season 2012

Great season for the club overall with 2nds winning their league and the 3rds and 4ths both getting promoted in second place. The 1sts got off to a fantastic start but faded badly before recovering at the end to ensure they weren't relegated!

It was heartening to see the club field U11, U13 and U15 teams. The U15s gave a very strong Waringstown team a run for their money at Roughfort. That promises well for the future. Thanks go to all those who helped with coaching, in particular Matty Palmer, Andrew Magee, Brian Boyd, Ian Moffett, Robert Best, Philip Ingram and the evergreen James McCall (apologies if I've left anyone out!).

David Reid (U15) became the youngest player to score a hundred for the club.

There'll also be a poker night at the club on Friday 24th February from 7.30pm. Please support the club.

A reminder to all that Subs are now over due. This season we will be charging a flat fee of 50 for all adults or 30 for students. On top of this there will be a 2 match fee for all 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI games or a 4 match fee for all 1st XI games. Subs to be paid to any committee member ASAP.

When you visit this website, think about supporting the club by looking occasionally at one of the ads on the right-hand side of the homepage.

There is also an Academy CC Facebook page and Twitter account updated on much more regular basis than this website.
