Yes,
we're still alive. Thanks for all the mails and reactions you
have sent us, style: "Are you guys still alive?" Well,
again, SPOS still exists. The only question is when we will be
touring again, let alone recording music. In the mean time, Achiel
& Bart are doing well with their new project "Kash"
(www.kash-music.com).
It's almost like Depeche Mode, isn't it? Dave doing someting else
while DM has never officially split up. To be continued... (or
what did you expect??).

Well,
sorry for being away for such a long time. Life has been busy
recent months. Not only in a muscial way of speaking. There's
more! Gert (guitar player) and myself (Achiel) became fathers.
Gert has a son, named Jitse. I have
a baby daughter, named Milla.
There's
more good news. We were selected
to put our "Dead Souls" version (originally by Joy Division)
on the newest New Order tribute album,
Community. More info can be found

SPOS
did a great show in Rome, at the
INIT Club. It was a great experience, Rome is a magnificent city.
SPOS would like to thank the organisation "In
The Night Time" for their excellent work.
The
Italian fans were very glad to see SPOS for the first time live
in Italy. Moreover, they were excited to see Antonio
Palermo (Siglo XX) as special guest. Of course, SPOS played
some old Siglo songs like Dreams of Pleasure and Art of War...
And the crowd went mad!!

SPOS
will release "Souls"
as an exclusive single for our Italian concert (October). Only
available at the venue!! It will be a "small" release
after ou dEcAdEnT album of last December. Call it a sneak preview
to our new album...

latest video-clip "Echo"
will be shown on JIMtv
(a cool Belgian music channel) as from next week. As you know,
Echo is on our latest album dEcAdEnT
and will be released as a single very soon. Great news, indeed.

Life
keeps on being busy for us as we are already working on our next
single: SYN.

There's
a new show confirmed: August 9th, SPOS live
at "Nooddle" (Beernem, B). Last month was calm
for us since Tom has been touring with Helmut Lotti (no don't
worry, Tom isn't in his band. He's a roadie). In the mean time,
we will be in the studio beginning of next month. We will finally
finalize our new single called "SYN"
(I will tell you the full title later).

to all who came to see us at the Invitation
Festival in Kuipke/Ghent (B), last weekend. Although we
have mixed feelings about our performance, we got some very nice
reactions. Next week, I will update our website with some nice
photos... We will be in the studio to work out some new recordings...

Our
concert last Saturday was great.
The place was full, the crowd went mad. What more do you want?
Special thanks again to all those who helped us with the video-clip
(Maïté, Wannes, Jan, ...). Also special thanks to
our fans from Germany who came to
Belgium to see our show. We were very honoured to be photographed
by Philippe Carly, who also
worked with Joy Division, U2, Siouxie and

to be in JJ De Pierpont's show. They
played Echo, Seeddump and Dead Souls (all tracks from our newest

trendspotting bureau "The Electric Network".
We are mentioned as "pioneers from the new
new wave"... Our new album is getting more attention than
we ever hoped. Or is it thanks to the recent photo work by Greetje

Today
we recorded our first video clip
(for the song "Echo"). Man, what an exhausting day!!
Thanks again to all those lovely people who participated. Thanks
to Maité and Jan for the professional guidance. Erik, sorry
we beat you up, but that was part of the scenario. People living
in Antwerp might have seen a VW Beetle with 4 masked guys waving
with guns and sticks and running over people... That was us. The
result will be great. Previews and photos will follow very soon.

21st we will shoot our video-clip
for "Echo" (opening track of dEcAdEnT). A professional
movie crew will make us look sexy... Let's hope... Anyway, we
are still looking for extras to act in our clip ("figuranten").

news. We will shoot a videoclip for "ECHO" (opening

Today
it is already 8 years since our guitar player Bar Auwaerts died.

We did a great show on the "Zwart
Werk" festival (Beernem, Belgium).
The crowd was enthousiast. We played material from our new CD
decadent, as well as older stuff which people seem to have appreciated.
Everything went so well... It was a good set with the right
breaks (we played an akkoestic version of Joy Division's Atmosphere).
And because we noticed a lot of Joy Division t-shirts in the crowd,
we also played "She's lost control". Man, that rocked!
It was Bart's second live gig with us and he enjoyed it. Thanks
crowd, thanks Beernem!

Our concert with CRANES
was allright (VK,
Brussels). Of course, it is never evident to be support act (people
come to see the main act...). We played a strong set. Unfortunately,
we had some slight difficulties at the end but we came out well.
Reactions from CRANES and their fans were positive. We found it
a great honour to play with them. Bart (our new keyboard player)
did a great job. Coooooooool !!!!!!!!
