This model is based on the old Airfix Kit. It's my second attempt in WWI modeling (in 1987) and this model was built basically straight from the box.

To represent the silver dope, I used a mix of one part of Humbrol silver and two parts of pale grey. The Belgian khaki was made with a mix in equal parts of Humbrol green 30 and chocolate brown but it's too greenish for my taste. Metallic parts are painted with Humbrol Silver.

Cockades come from and old IPMS Belgium sheet and rudder has been hand painted. Markings are made with Letraset.

As usually, this model is entirely rigged with polyamide monofilament sewing thread.
