This model is based on the 1/72 Pegasus shortrun.  The cockpit is entirely scratchbuilt.

The wings and tailplane are painted with Gunze Sangyo Colours and weathered with Winsor and Newton oil colours.

For the wood fuselage and propeller, I used the same techniques as for the DFW CV and Ansaldo SVA 5.  But I airbrushed different shades of sail and sand colours for the undercoat to show the differences between the wood panels.

To finish, I put on a wash of brown madder alizarin and black oil colours (W & N) diluted with a mix of one part turpentine and one part white spirit applied to recessed lines with a very fine brush.  For this, see the Ansaldo SVA 5

The radiator and engine are painted with various shades of metallic paints.

Decals come from the kit.

The model is entirely rigged with polyamide monofilament sewing thread and the turnbuckles are represented with capuchin friar knots .
