This model is based on the old Blue Rider or Phoënix vacform.  It depict one of the six J.2 built for the German Army Air Corps in its original form.  251/16 appears to have been the first to fly during July 1916.  It's my very first attempt in vacform, before the DFW C.V and was built maybe 10 years ago.  Now, I think that my skill is better than in this era ;-)

I enjoyed to build it.  It was a not so difficult task, due to its cleanest form.  I just have been to scratch the undercarriage, cockpit, crash bar, manifold, exhaust and control horns.  The cockpit coaming was built with Milliput.

I painted it with Gunze German Blue.  Decals are provided with the kit and requested a normal amount of Micro Sol & Set.  This model is rigged as usually.
