The area hosting the Belgian Long Distance Championships 2004 has never been mapped before. It consists of mixed forest with some cleared or planted forest areas (resulting from intense forestry activities). The area is mostly fast runnable although partly covered with reasonably thick undervegetation. The network of footpaths is dense. There are several local roads running through the forest (please be careful crossing them!). The Southern part of the map is characterised by some steep hills. Contour details is globaly poor, however you will run through some intricate areas and some other rocky parts. There are a number of meadows and fields in the area. These may NOT be crossed if shown as out-of-bounds areas on the map.
