La Figuière, as
it used to be spelled, is a ‘hameau’ (=hamlet), a mini-village,
which housed a goat and sheep farm until about 1955.
It now consists of ten holiday homes and six luxury tented areas.
La Figuère has been carefully restored over the past twelve
years while retaining its unique character and without disturbing
the original atmosphere.
Eight houses are let out. These are scattered over the quietly-situated
private property.

Living, eating and cooking
outside, but under a canvas roof. There’s plenty of space. And
it’s all incredibly practical. The pergola is our central spot;
our living room-cum-kitchen is nine by four and a half metres in size.
It has a big table with plenty of room for everyone to sit, eat or
play games at. You’d wish it was always like that.

Living under a sheer blue sky, sleeping under the stars, but with
every comfort. In one of the most beautiful, unspoilt spots in France,
this dream comes true. At Domaine La Figuère you will find
the ideal surroundings, where rest, privacy and space are guaranteed.
It offers unique accommod ation that is unequalled : it consists of
three luxury tents, the parents’ and children’s tents are
on platforms and the dining tent is out in the open field. All three
tents have their own specific functions, situated in a piece of land
of about 350 m2. The freedom of camping combined with the comfort
of home. No camping beds, but comfortable box spring beds. No groundsheet,
but permanent platforms. No butane gas cooking stove, but a fully-fitted
kitchen. No folding furniture, but a tasteful interior with comfortable
armchairs and tables. No bungalow tent but a tent bungalow. No ordinary
holiday, but an experience..
