Director Elections right now!
|
The director elections have been started by Philip Locke. They will last 72 hours. Candidates are Sander Dieleman for Interior and Eddie Guimont for Exterior affairs.
The elections is somewhat boring, since there is only one candidate for each job.. so the results are known already. Anyway, they're going on here.
I know this is a pretty short article but its important so it has to be on top :p

Lots of stuff is happening in Feianova at the moment, on the area of Culture. A summary.
First of all, there is a new website proposal, by Sander Dieleman. The website is based on the "paradise" theme, the island image that you can find in all the Feianova banners. Reactions to it have been positive so far, if it continues, the website will be proposed to the National Assembly.
There is also the language project. It is coming into a mature stage very quickly, and important documents (the National Anthem and the Common Principles) have been translated into Feianovedo. At the moment, Feianova is voting on accepting it as Secondary language.
A course has been made also. It contains the basics, and an excercise to get used to the grammar and vocabulary. Reactions to the language project have also been very positive, as several "Iev" votes have been counted :).
|
- The conflict in Menelmacar is now definately escalating with the creation of SLAM. a gift from god to the Baracãoans? Time will tell...
- The Feianovan website has been proposed. Not to the assembly though, just to the people. If the public opinion is positive about it, it'll be proposed to the assembly.
- Pacary Remembrance Messages have been spread. You'll be there, won't you :).
- There seems to be objection to the Menelmacar-Feianova treaty of recognition. A vote started by Phil Locke is going on in the Assembly.
- There's a Feianovedo course online now, and it's being passed as secondary official language of the Commune.

I give up. This'll be gone next issue.

First of all: Elections!
PASSED:
The MCS Claim has been made, but nothing has passed since the last issue, which isn't strange since the last issue was less than 24 hours ago... I'm publishing too fast.
ON VOTE:
The language guideline, which defines English as primary and Feianovedo as secondary language, is still on vote. There's a Citizen's Rights guideline on vote by Kuralyov. It had some negative response at the start but now it's getting better. Also, Locke has started a Negation of Treaty Approval vote against the treaty with Menelmacar.
DEBATE:
The "Left Alliance" debate is now getting concrete: we're actually writing a treaty :).
