DS2 Membership
"Deep Space 2" is a Chapter of the UFP (United Federated Planets) and UFP Head Quarters is far from our Head Quarters. So it was more than appropriate to take a "Deep Space"-name for our Starfleet Command Starbase. The number "2" referes to the second letter in the alphabet: "B". The "B" as the begin letter of Belgium. Although Deep Space 2 is a Belgian chapter all fans around the globe are very welcome.

UNITED FEDERATED PLANETS (UFP)
The UFP is a not for profit Star Trek fan club for all fans of Star Trek and science fiction and fantasy. We hope that you will find enjoyment and fulfillment with us. The UFP is a way for science fiction and fantasy fans all over the world to make some of their fantasies come true. As a member of the UFP you can create your own character, planet or whole race! Your imagination is your only limit. The UFP was created with you in mind! It is your fan club, you will get out of it what you put into it, aside from the initial membership fees. While most of the ideals and ideas are inspired by the STAR TREK phenomenon, other ideas may find a home among us and do daily. Perhaps some day some of us may actually reach for the stars, if not we can at least do so with our minds. I hope that you, as a new member, will enjoy your association with us and that you may attain some of your dreams in this reality.
