Belgian Association of Occupational Therapists
ENOTHE - European Network of Occupational Therapy in Higher Education

ENOTHE is a non-profit-making organisation, which was founded in 1995 in Aalborg in Denmark, within the framework of the European Union on the initiative of COTEC (Committee of occupational Therapists in European Countries) and funded by the European Commisssion.

The general aims of ENOTHE are :

  • to unite the European Occupational Therapy Educational Programmes (Institutes, Schools, Universities, etc…) in order to advance the education and the body of knowledge of occupational therapy.
  • to work with COTEC to promote occupational therapy education in Europe.
There is at least one member OT programme / institute of each EU country participating in the Network, except from Italy and Luxembourg, where no (recognized) OT programme is provided. At the moment it consists of 82 member European Occupational Therapy (OT) programmes.

The Network is highly representative for the OT Education in Europe (both undergraduate and graduate studies) and open for all OT programmes in Europe, who are interested in and committed to the objectives mentioned in the charter.
