Portait of David is een eenmansproject dat de desolate soundscapes van Icebreaker combineert met het triestere songwriterschap van Will Oldham, Nick Drake of een depri Paul Simon. Het schuurt door merg en been en laat je, verpletterd door een berg tristesse, achter in zak en as. Sober en schoon, de perfectie op plaat gebrand.
