MOUSE ON MARS: Cache Coeur naïf
EP Thrill Jockey (1997)

An EP from these duo from Düsseldorf, who released their full lengths on the English Too Pure label. Mouse on Mars is Andi Torna and Jan ST Werner and they work for this EP together with Laetitia Sadier from Stereolab.
In general is this EP their most poppy work so far. The opener "cache coeur naïf" is a weak popsong that I had not expected from Mouse On Mars. The second one "schnick-schnack" is a bit weirder a more what I have expected from the EP. The vocals from Leatitia made this song sounds unearths.
The B side opened with a tasteful poptune. "Lasergum" has again a very strong contribution from Leatitie where here French spoken voice have something exotic.
The last song "glim" is without vocals and is a passable song.
So resuming, not good and not bad, next time I bay their new full-length.
