At an early age, and experienced his first real urge to be an artist upon being exposed to the fantasy artwork of artists like Michael Whelan, Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson, and Clyde Caldwell. The list of influences exploded soon after, as miravi discovered the full breadth of the history of fantasy artists and illustrators. Later influences would include comic book artists such as Bruce Timm, Michael Turner, J. Scott Campbell, Adam Hughes, and thecoloring talents of the Liquid! and Drew Posada teams.
