- Our house is situated in the heart of the medieval town - the oldest part
of Bruges - near the St-Walburga church where Koen plays the organ. It takes
only a 1 minute walk to get to the canals and 3 minutes walking from the "Burg"
and the market square.
- The house is rebuilt in 1832 but you can already find the house on the citymap
drawn by Marcus Gerardus in 1562. Through the ages the house was renovated
several times. The most recent renovation and restauration was done by us
in 2000 - 2001
- In the entrqnce with old marbered black and white churchfloor, a beatiful
wooden staircase leads to the upper floor ( 2 flights of stairs) where you
will be able to feel at home in the cosy, peaceful rooms.
- The rooms were totally new installed in 2001 with all modern comfort, combined
with the beautiful old characteristics of our old mansion, such as: old wooden
(cheese-) floors, beamed ceilings, original doors...
The rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and art.
