We took some revenge for our biggest defeat of the season with 12-1 victory . The question is of this makes a lof of difference since Berchem City has given forfait , totalling 3 forfaits now .

Zvc deserved a lot more but the absence of the referee made it a very difficult game .One result was reviewed namely Fenix Club Neder lost against Caspienne in stead of winning with 10-8 according to the paper . The general forfait of CS Boitsfort is also confirmed. Match 1 iclose two a second general forfait with 2 forfaits given .

Due to the tournament preparations, we had some delay in our news on the website . What happened lately ? Zvc won an important game at Iberica Bruxelles with 5-7. You can find a game report and updated league table on this site. Despite the fact that there is still no official confiirmation we calculate already with a general forfait of CS Boitsfort .

Participants on our tournament were All Stars , Mondialboys, Lucifer Landen , Bavianen, Retro's, Via Dexia, De Komeet , Charlot , ODM , Scherpenheuvel Sport , Scouts Diest and El Toro. After the first day de Retro's, Scouts Diest , All Stars and Charlot were eliminated. At the end after a very tense final Via Dexia won the tournament with penalties against Scherpenheuvel Sport . We would like to thank all the particpants and supporters for their presence and support.

One could expect that in the second provincial league the competition wouldn't be influenced by a "general forfait" but after 3 months it is already the case . CS Boitsfort didn't show up at our away against them and this implied a fourth "forfait" for them. As a consequence all results will be eliminated at the moment the Provincincial Committee confirms our expectation . For Zvc it is not the best news since this implies that we loose six points. A reminder : our next home game will be played on December 22nd at 22h in Scherpenheuvel against Zvc Young Guns Tervuren . Our fourth game in five months against Tervuren ...

Luck is not on our side lately ; with Willem we can add another injured player to the list and in addition we lost the topper against Young guns with 1-3. You can find an updated league table , results and the game report on this site .

Another excellent performance of Zvc but this time Zvc was not rewarded for the performance : a 6-5 defeat against Benfica St Michel Jette. Negative point is that two players got injured in during last week . With the birth of the first ScherpSchutter child coming up these injuries imply selection problems. At the end of the week we have to play with our reduced team against Young Guns Tervuren . It will not be our only game against Young guns this month since Young guns won the replay of their cup game and will be our next competitor . A date for the cup game is not yet fixed but the cup game has to be played before the 31th of december.

In the mean time we can report two new members for Zvc De ScherpSchutters : a new player and a referee.

Cup of Brabant news : Young guns Tervuren played 3-3 in their cup game against a team of 3rd provincial. Since there was no referee present there was a lot of discussion but according to the rules it is the oldest enlisted team that goes further meaning that Young guns will continue.

After some troubles this week we finally managed to win again and more than that : we played a good game and won with 3-8 against Fenix club Neder . Zvc stays with 3 points out of 18 last in the league table after the 4-9 loss against Exc Jaguar Woluwe. Zvc still misses that bit of luck to finally get the points they deserve. You can find an updated league table on this site ?

The webmaster is back after a short and well deserved holiday . What happened in between : Zvc played two games ; finally our first home game against Moonlight Leuven which was lost with 6-9 depite the fact that Zvc created enough chances to obtain a second deserved victory. The second game against Zvc Berchem City Boys was a lot worse : 16-4 defeat . Suprisingly is that we finished the game without any problem where Zvc Berchem City Boys had already 3 games which were stopped due to problems . The sportcommittee decides next week on the result of the stopped games . Other remarkable fact that could be read in Sportleven of this week : Young guns Tervuren is "in aanleg van schrapping". Probably they forgot a little formality ....

Tomorrow (20h in Scherpenheuvel) Zvc plays the first cup game of the season against MFC United St Josse. They play in third prov and have actually 1 point out of two games after their draw against Lautrec Brussel's (6-6) of last week.

A good benchmark for our game of Thursday against Benfica St Gilles . Young guns - Benfica St Gilles 5-5 after a 3-0 advantage for Young guns . Not an easy competitor for our third consecutive away game.

Our first cup match (1/32th finals) for the Cup of Brabant will be against MFC United 2000 St Josse and will be played on Monday , October 2nd at 20h in Scherpenheuvel. MFC United 2000 St Josse is a team that started in competition this year . In their first competition game they lost in 3rd prov C against El Mus Brussel with 2-8. If we win against MFC united, we will have to play probably at home against Young Guns Tervuren in the next round.

Yesterday we won our friendly game against Zvc Kesselo with 10-6. Finally we played better and our 'lost son' Nico returned suddenly scoring 8 of the 10 goals.

The friendly game planned for Thursday is cancelled because the hall in Diest is not yet ready. Hopefully we can play a friendly game next saturday.

Welcome back !

It's been sometime that you heard from us , but we still exist . The webmaster has been silent for some time due to a well deserved holiday and a lack of news due to the summer season. Exactly one week before the start of the competition , The KBVB finally managed ( ??) to publish the new calendar.

For the ones who don't remember it : we are promoted to the second provincial division B together with two other teams from our former league namely Young guns Tervuren and Zvk Vaartkapoen Molenbeek.

The calendar looks really terrible ; 17 games in the first half of the season compared to only 9 in the second half. In the first half of the season we have 11 away games compared to only two in the second half. I guess you really have to do a lot of effort to make such an unbalanced calendar. With varying success we played some friendly games but the real competition start at 6 September for us with a game against Young Guns Tervuren . The following competition games are scheduled for 19/9 and 28/9. All the games are away games. I guess the KBVB was thinking we would have to rebuild our stands to deal with an increased number of spectators after our relegation.
