Enough scientific talk! This website is dedicated to my spare time. I's been a while now that I've been trying to learn a bit more about my family history. Sounds boring? No way! Don't tell me you've never thought about time travelling. This is the way to do it!!! Just image tracking down all your ancestors: who were they? Where did they live? What was their occupation? If I've got you interested, just take a look at my genealogy pages. But remember, tracking down your family history is always a work in progress: there is still a lot of information out there!

Another favorite of mine is poetry. Nothing serious. I just like playing around with words. Some of my all time favorites are "Can death be sleep, when life is but a dream" (John Keats) and "Chapter Heading" (Ernest Hemingway). But, here I've written down some of my own work.

And then, last but not least, a few words on the Belgian castles. Ever since I was a little kid, I've been interested in castles. Not the fancy overdecorated ones, but the real stuff: the mediaeval fortresses! Have a look at the castles pages, and join me in my quest to the dark ages...
