Born, 14 December 1914 at Schaerbeek. He was seriously  wounded on 11th May at Schaffen. Leaves Belgium on 1st February 1941.Arrival in Great Britain on 20 July 1941. He joined the RAFVR at 23 August 1941. A refresh course saw him send to 53 OTU at Heston the same day. He was posted to 501 Sqn on October 6th, 1941. 2 September 1942 saw his affectation to 350 Sqn. Several postings saw him with 171 Sqn ( 15 December 1942), 9 Receiving Center (4 January 1943) and 349 (Belgian) Sqn (23 january 1943). A long period of health problems saw him retired from operational service and frontline dutis. Demobilized on March 9, 1946, he joined SABENA    Died in a Plane crash (Sabena DC-4 OO-CGB) 18 September 1946 at Gander, New Foundland - Canada. (See Ester).
