| Born July 25, 1919 at Forest
(Brussels), Joined the Aéronautique Militaire as soldier and
escaped via Sète to the UK on the 1st of July, 1940. Joined
the RAFVR on 1 August 1940. Send for training he attended 2 EFTS
Uxbridge (2/11/40), 5 SFTS Ternhill, (14/05/41), 61 OTU Heston
(17/08/41). After his training, Alexandre was posted to
124 Sqn on October 1, 1941. Transferred to 350 sqn November
18, 1941 first, then went to 64 Sqn March 13, 1943. Returned
to 350 on June 2, 1943. He took command over "A"-flight on
December 28, 1943. F/Lt Alexandre went MIA, Beachhead cover,
Yellow Flight, on 10th June 1944, after his
plane, Spitfire Mk Vb, AA720 "MN-J" got a engine fire .
