Camilla Henemark is her real name, but her real history is somehow one big confusion. She would be responsible for bringing Jean-Pierre and Alexander together, but left Army Of Lovers in 1991 right after the Jean-Paul Gaultier session.

The official reason was the fact that she didn't have enough time because of her modelling career at Camilla Thulin's modeling agency (where Michaëla and Dominika also worked) and her club 'La Camilla'. But why leave such a successful band? I'm not saying it isn't true, but I'm not convinced! Especially due the fact she started with a soloproject in 1992 with Sonet Grammafon AB. I just don't know. La Camilla left and got replaced by Michaëla. As La Camilla she had two hits: 'Everytime you lie' (produced by E-Type and Stakka Bo) and 'Give me your love' in duet with MTV VJ Steve Blame. 'Everytime you lie' can be found on the Army Of lovers compilation 'Les Greatest Hits', released in 1995; the year she returned to Army Of Lovers to replace Michaëla on her turn. In 1996 she released the solosingles 'The witch in me' and 'I'm not in the mood for lovers', but both failed. And because they weren't successful, the release of her first full-cd 'Temper' got delayed and eventually cancelled. There is an interesting line in the song 'I'm not in the mood for lovers': "...not even in an army of lovers."

She still wants to have a career as a singer, and sometimes she performs with her songs and songs of her Army Of Lovers career. La Camilla also wants to pursue her actress career but apart from playing small roles in theaterplays and movies it never succeeded. She presented an erotic televisionshow Sjunde Himlen. Rumours went that she hasn't got a lot of money anymore, but those words don't come from me... .

In 2000 she made a song with Danko called 'The Russians are coming'. She was never properly informed of the release of that single - nor did she know she was in it. She did a few takes as a try-out and Danko secretly used it. She didn't get a penny out of it. She went back to Army Of Lovers in 2001. In that time the most remarkable thing she said was: "I am La Camilla. I AM Army Of Lovers". She was once again the queen, and the fans voted her for that title too. Sadly enough in most interviews she didn't really show any interest, and if she did she was kinda rude.

At the moment she is working on a new disco-album.
