All videoclips of Army Of Lovers, including the compilation 'Videovaganza 1990-1993' were directed by Fredrik Boklund and produced by Martin Persson. The videos were small masterpieces of the finest quality, but to enjoy them you've got to understand Army Of Lovers completely. There are few artist who made such creatives videoclips. They used a minimum on special effects and a maximum of attributes, just like their performances. They loaded the clips with drama (e.g. 'Judgment day'), humour (e.g. 'La plage de Saint-Tropez') and camp (e.g. 'Crucified').

Crucified

Israelism

Like I've said in chapter 2, the videoclips caused almost always a controverse with an MTV-exile as most known consequence ('Israelism'). People thought that the videos were too shocking and too provocative. But actually, the videos were only fantasies of people and Army Of Lovers. Maybe a little bit explicit but that was Army Of Lovers. Nevertheless people who said the clips were bad, were as much intrigued (although on a negative way) as the fans. You couldn't take your eyes of them cause it was fascinating. Never ever were such videos recorded as a way of selling their songs.

Give My Life

Lit de Parade

'Let the sunshine in' refers to a lot of older clips like the brainsurgery ('Obsession'), the shooting rose ('Ride the bullet'), Jean-Pierre who breaths something visual out ('Lit de parade'), Alexander with a torch ('Lit de parade'), La Camilla with the breathspray ('I am'), and so on. The clip is one sequence after another, still you find a "story" behind it: Alexander awakens after a long sleep and summons the other bandmembers to come.

Let the sunshine in

My Army Of Lovers

I'll never forget following things: the way La Camilla showed her little flower ('Crucified'), Alexander and Jean-Pierre as nazi's ('My Army Of Lovers'), sadistic nurse La Camilla ('Obsession'), the statuette of La Camilla ('Ride the bullet'), Alexander giving birth to a dog ('Judgment Day'), Jean-Pierre in a bathtub with breastmilk directly flowing from Dominika and Michaëla ('Israelism') and Dominika, Jean-Pierre and Alexander working on a car ('Give my life'), and much much more.
