Kiserdei Vidocq moved again ! ... at Bavaruki

In summer 2002 Belinda and Trevor Pattrick of the Rikandan kennel took some real hard and difficult decisions which changed their life very dramatically. They sold their house and their marriage fell apart after +20 years and most of the dogs had to be rehomed.

As for Vidocq they thought it would be such a pity if he disappeared as a pet. After all the efforts to import new bloodlines to the UK and now that he was available for breeding, he would be better of with another breeder they decided.

That way Kiserdei Vidocq moved again in august 2002 to Julie Jones (kennel Bavaruki) who had fallen in love with him at the occasion of the mating in july.

My heart felt so sorry for all of them ! I could not be of any help as we were ourselves still strugling to overcome the injurys of our caraccident....

And I was that worried how Vidocq would take this 3th drastic change in his life....
He came from Budapest to us at 9 weeks and I raised him the best I could, untill he left for the UK at 10,5 months. read more .... There he had to adjust to the big pack of the Rikandan breeders read more .... and now 10 months later such a big change again for a not even adult leo-male ! So I holded my breath how he would cope with all that !
But again he did very well and kept his sweet outgoing stable character o))) And when the pups were born he was just as his dad and helped with the pups.
For me the confirmation that I did a good job as a foster parent.
