evaluation of this combination:
We wanted to keep the character and brownred colour of both, Ursus could add longer coat. Neither of both had strong faults or problems, only esthetic details could be better. The German bloodlines of Ursus should add more bone and a solid structure at the rather light, more French type, of Mkoowy (height:77 cm). The excellent head-type in his lines and the full black mask should compensate that of Mkoowys lines. His excellent HD-background should compensate the HD-C of Mkoowy. (her brothers and sisters have better hips, 4x HD-B).

Untill now this seems to have been very succesfull: all the pups had a good head-type and a full black mask. 5/7 were strong builded with very strong bone. The other 2 : medium but not light. They had all thick coat and very good angulations and moved very well.
There are no problems untill now. They have all a complete scissor bite and all the males have their 2 testicles. The characters are very good. They are all very tal and kept the deepblack mask with one exeption : James who's mask faded away at the age of 1 year.
HD-results : 6 x HD-B .

Evaluation of the litter on 31.10.99 (10,5 months)
"All the pups + father and mother present, compliment! Beautifull strong pups, homogeneous in head-type. Compliment for the father who ammeliorated mothers head-type for a 100 %. The mother has given her beautifull way of ear-wearing. Father and mother do have a beautifull, straight, strong back en gave this to all their pups. The mother is of a very beautifull length, you can see it back in the pups. She gave also the lenght of their limbs. All pups have super pigment. The heads are striking: expression, fore-snout and ear-wearing extremely good. All pups have complete teeth. All the males do have 2 testicles. Sex-type very clear for all the pups. Males will be high. Very succesfull litter. Very promissing for the future regarding shows and breeding.

"From both parents come the narrow ellbows. Both parents gave their good topline. Father has given his pigment and eye-colour well and also the tail set. Both parents have a good character and You can see it back in the pups. Parents are of good height, pups look tall for the moment. The father will give his good bone and coat to his children in the future !"
