Licence Agreement

This licence agreement grants the user specific rights related to the use, copying and distribution of the software in accordance with the conditions and the disclaimer specified hereafter. By using this software, the user agrees to the terms of this license.

Conditions

The software is freely distributed by the author, but is not "public domain". It may not be used for the purpose of financial gain by any user or developer who receives the software, without prior agreement of the author.

The software is intended for simulation purposes and is expressly excluded from use in any real life activity related to the direct provision of aeronautical safety.

The software may be used, without payment to the author, for personal enjoyment, for public or private demonstration purposes, to aid in research activities, and for training purposes.

Users may not copy or distribute the software to third parties for financial gain.

Users may make archive copies of the software for the purpose of conserving and restoring the software, as protection against loss.

Users may make the software available to others, without modification in any form, provided:

  1. This copyright and license agreement, without modification, is included.
  2. The origin of the software and its author is fully stated and acknowledged in any copy.

Users may create their own scenario files for use with the software. No restrictions are placed on the use and distribution of users' scenario files.

Disclaimer

The software is considered to be coherent and compliant with the ®Microsoft Windows Operating Systems using 32-bit architectures. It has been tested under ®Windows 98, ME, and NT. It should also work successfully under ®Windows 95, 2000 and XP, although no explicit testing has been carried out by the author on these operating systems.

The software has been created using publicly available commercial software. In this respect its fundamental reliability and security are dependent upon the reliability and security of the underlying commercial software.

The application functions within the software have been created with care and good practices. External assistance for testing has been obtained through free support and feedback from interested members of the aviation community.

The software contains no known code which is designed to deliberately cause any malfunction to the users system. Every reasonable effort has been taken to ensure fault free operation of the software. However, no guarantee can be given that the program is free from undetected faults that may cause it to fail in an unpredictable manner, and with unforeseeable results.

The author is not responsible for any damage which may be caused by the use of this program. The user agrees to use the software at his or her own risk.
