Until now I have tried the 16bit-version. I have recognised two weak points: 1. speed adjustment only in Mach 0.03 spaces (it should be at least 0.01 spaces) 2. No vertical speed control hope it is fixed in the 32-bit version

I took my civil service exam a few times and scored very well. Now am involved in a ATC “real time” simulation with Flight Simulator 2000.
I used to have an ATC sim on the Sinclair Spectrum, nowadays ATC tends to be the disembodies voice on the other end of the radio. Usually asking me to stand-by and stay clear of their airspace, so I hope this will give some insights.

Currently working on a project analysing/assessing ATC tools for DERA (Defence Evaluation/Research Agency)in the UK.
Being an ACC instructor, I used to use the ODID III simulation tool for training purposes. Now, I intend to use the most recent version (Win98) for the same purposes, and this will be a useful thing (I am sure it will) to help us to define the new radar system.
Do you happen to know where I can find additional sectors for the sim TRACON? Or where I can purchase the sim TOWER? (ed. NO)

It would be cool to hook up a popular Flight sim prog with 1 person as a controller... the flight participants would get real time ATC from the ATC participant. Everyone would be inter dependant to make it a success...

My colleague is thinking of returning to ATC operations (currently at the ***** Reporting Office), and was asking me for a radar simulator in order to practice new STARS and SIDS. So I thought I might have a go at your newest version of the programme. ...... I will have to create some exercises.

Fan of everything in civil aviation, this software will be of a very educating tool. I always wanted to be an ATC. But as I have a poor vision, all of this is closed due to regulations, isn't it ? Therefor, having a website that deals with ATC is great. Thanks a lot !!!

I have been doing some work with US en route controllers and the displays they use. I would be very interested in hearing about the different displays used in Europe, and the automation aids controllers have available to them. .... I'm not a controller, but I have developed some understanding over the past couple of years. Thanks for allowing me to subscribe, and TIA for any information.
I find your software quite good, but I would like to ask you a few questions:
- I would like to replace the old positions of aircrafts with points instead of crosses...
- Did you write a program that can make automatic flight plans with only points and routes ??? It is quite boring to write ach of them...

As an instructor I saw quiet a lot of simulators and visualisation software, but yours is definitely the best, for it's size, it's portability,and the ease of use. I will let you know about the use we make of it and send you some data we created. Once more thank's a lot for this great software package.
