Andes expedition
There are only 14 mountains in the world that are higher then 8000 meter. This 8000 meter mark is a magic border in the world of mountaineering because it is generally referred to this as entering the deathzone. High altitude experts widely acknowledge that every second a human being spends above 8000 meters this individual is a dying a little bit. That's why the adagio seems to be 'Get up there, do whatever you need to do as quickly as possible, and get the hell out of there!'
