About this site

Some people find the thought of programming a hell, others think it's heaven. I find myself closer to the heaven thought. If I wouldn't like to program I wouldn't have started this site.

So what can you find here. This site will mainly present code I use myself or I think that might be useful. When I started programming in 1998 I found lots of useful things on the internet. So I want this site to be a gathering of the most useful things I found in those years. If you are learning one of the languages I'd been dealing with in those years, I hope this site will speed up your learning process.

At this moment the biggest part of this website will be devoted to visual basic for applications (VBA). Although Microsoft has lots of criticasters to cope with, one can not deny they did an excellent job with their Office suite. One of the greatest things of that office suite is the possibility to adapt MS Office to your own needs. This can be done with the most widespread macro language at this moment : visual basic for applications.

But you will also find samples of other languages in here (for example, Java Script). I do not want to restrict myself to one language. The restriction on what will be (or what will not be) placed on this site is a positive (or negative) answer to the following simple question: "Is it or has it ever been useful to me?"

How to watch this site

This site relies heavily on the use of JavaScript and CSS. So if you want to see this site the way I intend it to look, you should use a recent browser. If you use a recent browser this site should look fine since I try to make the layout look identical across different browsers. Currently I check the layout with Internet Explorer 6.0 and Mozilla 1.4. The differences are minimal and I'll try to keep it that way.
