What a moniker. I don’t doubt Nofuck’s sincerity or even
their musical skill. «ExistenzMinimum» is the Italian (Roma)
band first full length and to be honest with you, it’s not a classic.
The band can play and arrange but what they deliver on the musical ground
was already played some two decades ago. It’s not too bad really
but completely old-fashioned to my ears. They play in an old-school
thrash metal style (from the American school) but they are quite minimalist
in the way that the song’ structures rely on the same schemes.
The album fails in its interest level (it gets a bit boring after a
couple of tracks) but nevertheless I really respect a band which nowadays
plays this kind of anti-commercial music.
