is exactly what I was expecting from a band named Chainsaw Dismemberment.
Mortician influenced blasting, primitive death grind metal is the name
of the game here and even the game itself. No use for a fight, with
titles such as «Remains of A Brutally Fucked Corpse», «Fisting
‘till Bleeding», «Vomiting Thru’ Anal»
and «Stench of Chainsaw Gasoline» if you are not a big fan
of The Texas chainsaw massacre you shall not delight this Finnish act.
Mostly ultra fast brutal grind death metal with low tuned guitars and
furious bass/drums frameworks, Chainsaw Dismemberment are a fine example
of this kind of music. The vocals alternate low growling with shouted
screams for a little variety. Unfortunately if you’re not in this
extreme scene, the songs don’t really have enough variety to keep
you very interested through the whole album. Just a question of taste.
