If you’re a fan of old-school brutal death metal coupled with
tons of grindcore backgrounds or perhaps should I say modern grindcore
with tons of European groovy brutal death metal (Napalm Death can be
quoted), then you might want to shift your attention to the latest release
recorded by the German Unchallenged Hate. The band coming from the suburbs
of Essen started back almost a decade ago and if I’m right already
released one demo and two (self-released) full-lengths. I never heard
the band before, so I can’t compare this new work with the previous
records, but the twelve songs I am hearing throughout «The Art
Of Method» makes me think Unchallenged Hate are very good at what
they do. It’s quite obvious that we haven’t to make with
newcomers here. As already written Napalm Death have clearly been an
influence on Unchallenged Hate’s musical universe but «The
Art Of Method» also features the band’s own (groovy) trademark.
The half shouted /half screamed deathcore growling nicely compliments
the band’s musical direction and secure the needed bestiality.
The album never gets slow and I’m pretty convinced most of the
fans of the sick deathgrindcore scene will lap this up.
