IM was THE most "cult" band for our team when we started this
zine 16 years ago. Their demos were hilarious and they unfortunately disappeared
after releasing their first full-length "Safe Sex".
Let's put things straight, IM have never been an interesting band on the
musical level. Their covers of "Louie Louie" and mostly their
unique version of "Blowing In The Wind" going something like
"how many sausages a man could eat, before his sphincters explode,
the answer my friend is blowing in the wind"! Yes these guys with
their masks, shit and vomit collars sound like a mix of South Park and
Beavis & butthead incorporating some Metal or so here and there…
On this come back album, Fetus Fucker, Pungent Vomit and Jack Shit have
included even more spoken words that could be described as scatological
poetry. All lyrics are hilarious mostly when it comes to covers such as
"Altar Of Sodomy" ("enter to the realm of sphincter!"),
or MADNESS "In The Navy" ("in the navy, you'll get more
help than you can hope, in the navy, each time you drop the shower soap,…"),
there's a cover of "Beat It" (M. Jackson), a tune about France
that is funny using many clichés even if it seems the band doesn't
agree with France's stand about war against Iraq, which was one of the
few good decision their stupid government took for ages, but that's another
story.
Let's end with the copyright on the back cover :

You can download some great old tunes on their website and I advise you
to check the interview we did some months ago.
