An intense, ultra heavy ‘american sounding’ death metal assault with utter guttural vocal works. What we have here is a band clearly brought up on a diet of acts such as Disgorge, Deeds Of Flesh, Abscess and Mortician. Vocals are pretty typical (almost incomprehensible lyrics) for extreme brutal death metal and the guitar works feature some nice passages. Despondency is one of the faithful, bringing absolutely nothing new into a genre that adepts say doesn’t need originality and innovation. Fans of sick music will lap this one.
