As you would expect, «Deathcult Salvation» is much more mature and convincing than the already groundbreaking / superb «Malicious Parasite». Still sounding underground in both approach and spirit but the tightness of the music is flawless. I think that Panchrysia are one of the more intense bands currently playing this kind of schizophrenic yet melodic black metal and definitely one of the superior ones. I feel pretty confident in saying that if you like brutal and fast paced black metal then you will be guaranteed to enjoy this. What makes Panchrysia great is that they play fast brutal black metal but with structures that create some insane and vicious atmospheres. Along with the usual brutality encountered with acts such as Marduk or Dark Funeral, you get here plenty of venomous yet catchy guitar lines that are very reminiscent of Satyricon’s classics. Panchrysia are of course violently perfect but unlike most of the nowadays black metal hordes, don’t end up sounding sterile or repetitive. I can’t really find any fault with «Deathcult Salvation»; this is simply what insanity and violence are all about. Probably a dream comes true for the black metal fans: a band that delivers something intelligent, beautiful, corrupted and insane. Perfect.
