My favorite (and most hated) environment is Windows. I have been programming for some time now, so I witnessed many Microsoft efforts to make a better world / become master of the world.  I was inflicted with MS-DOS, Windows, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. I wonder what comes next ?

Never mind. If you find interest in any of the following programs, you have my permission to use them and to do whatever you want with them (except sell them, of course).

  • The Conway of Life is completely freeware. Source code is available for download.
  • Versatile rule customization (which can be saved as templates)
  • Linear and 3D maps with basic 3D display support
  • User defined map size, limited only by available memory
