Ngahue II is a Hallberg-Rassy 37: one of the first generation. This particular HR model was officially launched by the Hallberg-Rassy Varvs AB boatyard in Sweden during its annual Open Week in August 2003, and first deliveries to customers started in Spring 2004. The Yard has carried through a number of changes and improvements since, notably replacing the prop shaft drive by a sail-drive. In 2009 HR launched an aft cockpit boat based on the HR 342 called the HR 372, an interesting evolution towards progressively more "modern" and sporty designs for a new "Rassy" public.

Reputedly, Ngahue II was the first private HR37 to sail from the yard in Sweden in April 2004. Some 40+ HR37s are built by Hallberg-Rassy each year, and there a good 200 units now sailing the seven seas.

Germán Frers, the leading Argentinian naval archtitect who designs all Hallberg-Rassy yachts nowadays, took his successful design of the HR 36 (more than 605 units built over a 14 year period!) and accomplished a major tour de force by turning an already excellent boat into a 'Traumschiff', to quote the German sailing publication 'Segeln' (2004).

The result is a faster yet equally comfortable sea-going yacht, that retains the seakindly and traditional characteristics of the HR 36, which itself was a successful evolution of the highly acclaimed HR 352, designed by Olle Enderlein and Christoph Rassy.

In short, Ngahue II is:

> Built by the top boatyard Hallberg-Rassy

> Designed by Germán Frers

> Extensively equipped for comfortable off-shore cruising and sail-training
