Introduction

Picture an unearthly, beautiful maiden with yards of shimmering blond hair flowing behind her as she rides in the light of double moons on wolfback. You don't need to know very much about her because she's an elf, one of the 'elfiest' elves there are in Elfquest. Newstar epitomizes elfness! She has always seemed sweet and gentle and not all 'there'. No one should ever try to get her 'there'...


Well, I'm going to try it, because I think she deserves it and I think she has a lot more potential than just being there and look pretty. And because of that it made her my favourite character of Elfquest.

Newstar always seems to have lived in the shadows of others, yet she has lived for 500 years. She has already lived a full life; Recognised an unknown(!) Sun-Villager, had a son, and her parents and brother died, but we never saw any of that how she dealt with it.

I want to look further and try to find out what's behind that typical elfish 'façade'. With a little help of others. So if someone has drawings or stories about Newstar (and would like to share them), please send them to me.
