Start of the Snake Indian Pass The next day, we had the second heighest pass to climb: Snake Indian Pass (2027m). This pass is only some 30 minutes hiking from our camping spot, but the path is muddy. Sometimes we are stuck in the mud and we have to pull each other out of the dirt. Ofcourse, this happens with the necessary laughter...
Snake Indian Pass Again, the path through the pass is not steep at all and it is possible to enjoy the beautiful nature fully. Especially the climb is beautiful, the descend lays between dense pine trees and it is difficult to catch a glimb of the environment. Some wet pants and shoes

Typically, we have to pass a swollen river and our dried hiking boots and socks are wet again. Almost each day, we had the same problem: although we only had to pass one river without bridge or fallen trees, this always happens during the first hours of the day, bringing about wet footware.

Bridge across white water river The trip after Snake Indian brings us to the famous Great Divide and passes through places where several western movies have been taken in the past.
The path to this valey is mainly flat and leads us across streams, shores of beautiful lakes and a nice site for the park guards.
