Objects of the
C
ycle of Life

Several manifestations accompany the various moments of importance in the life of the Moroccan Jew, such as birth and circumcision (for the newborn males), the bar mitzvah, the wedding, the old age and death.

These are usually articulated around social, musical, and culinary activities.

Differences can be observed per region according to the origin of the social group (for instance, the Jewish wedding in Southern Morocco is of Berber influence).
