The library counts around 2500 books, dating from the 17th to the 20th century, written in Hebrew, Judeo-Arabic, French, English, Spanish, and Arabic.
These volumes treat diverse subjects, all related to Moroccan Judaism, such as history, liturgy, literature, law, arts, music, philosophy, poetry, etc...
The library is also rich of about 1500 manuscripts, dating from the 15th to the 20th century, written in Hebrew, and Judeo-Arabic.
Some of them have been published in printed versions, whereas others have remained unpublished. They relate mainly to religious and legal subjects (legislation and jurisprudence, codes summaries, talmudic commentaries, compilations of customs, mysticism, kabala, etc...)
The library counts more than 1000 other written documents, manuscripts and published materials: commercial and rabbinical correspondences, notary public acts, ... In addition, it can also be found here many newspapers and periodicals, printed in Morocco, since the end of the 19th century, as well as a very important collection of single documents printed in Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic.
